Although it has taken me a minute to get on the hyperpop train, I have recently been diving into the genre and I’m loving what I hear. One artist that has stood out to me is Connecticut’s very own Garr. Garr is an artist that I am fairly new to, but he has a sound that has so much emotion shining through his captivating production. On his new single “Wasted”, he delivers an introspective single that is relatable to anyone that has had a hard time letting go.
In the visual, Garr’s time is split between him singing him in a grass field and him raging in his bedroom. Garr does an incredible job at expressing his pain and agony that he feels for his significant other, and I was a huge fan of the transitions and theatrics laced within the video. Overall, this has to be one of my favorite songs of the year! With that being said, make sure to stream the visual above!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Thunder in the summer I’m f*cking wasted”
