G 5aby Is A Star, And His “Can’t Breathe” Video Is Proof (Music Video Review)

Once again, G 5aby has dropped a tasteful new track, “Can’t Breathe.” joined by a visual from esteemed director Qasquiat to go with it. His signing to Birdman / Ca$h Money was but the first step in a whole sequence of news and drops set to satisfy all current (and soon-to-be) superfans.

Sonically, G 5aby has always been capable of making a firm impression. His wide variety of artistic skills in his arsenal make it only natural for the young talent to shine the way he does on “Can’t Breathe.” His high standard for what’s considered “releasable” is remarkable. 5aby makes the notably difficult seem effortless, and it’s pretty safe to assume we’ll be hearing a lot more from him in the near future - and down the road.

Whether you’re new to G 5aby, or you’ve been familiar, “Can’t Breathe” is well worth a listen heading into this summer weekend.

Lyrics That Stick:

“When I lost my dawg,

I lost a lung,

I can’t breathe…”
