After taking a small hiatus, R&B star, Ryan Trey, is back with his infectious new single ‘It’s About A Girl’. The record is a moody anthem that seems built for independent women due to its catchy hook and captivating wordplay. In addition to the song, he also dropped a fire visual to accompany the song.

In the visual that accompanies the single, Trey is seen driving through the sunny streets of California. The video is full of scenic shots and trippy cinematic effects that display the headspace of Ryan. He’s in a battle within himself, and it seems that this girl he is lusting over is all a dream. If you have time, check the video out above.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Poppin’ and you’re locked in

And you’re top 10 but you not 10

Girl, you’re top 2 but you’re not 2

And they plottin’ ’cause they’re not you”
