Rockstar Payso Blesses Fans With “HEADSHOT”, His Best Yet (Music Video Review)

Rockstar Payso is a Brooklyn native who’s found his way upwards both in NYC and LA. He’s become a force to be reckoned with musically, visually (with the help of ModernDayAuteur), and from a marketing perspective - even before this mind-blowing video drop he unveiled today.
“HEADSHOT” shows a side to Payso that is familiar to his biggest fans, yet easily understandable to new fans. His artistry has entered another atmosphere, as he and MDA’s chemistry has helped formulate this notably clear depiction of who Rockstar Payso really is. Some of you may have heard about him through his work with Take A Daytrip, performing at a Kid Super show, or even opening for YNW Melly at SOB’s in NYC the night Melly got arrested. As much as that tells us about Rockstar Payso, this video tells us even more.
From eye-grabbing shots and angles, to a deeply engaging (and surprising) plot, all of these elements fall perfectly in line with who we’ve come to know Payso as. Musically, he’s making it clear his voice is his best asset - which, considering the strength of all the surrounding art, is quite the statement. If you’re new to Rockstar Payso, today’s your day.
Lyrics That Stick:

I might end yo’ life, uh”
