Although he is still in high school, glaive has already established himself as a promising artist in the hyper-pop genre. With his new record ‘detest me’, he pens an upbeat emotional record that discusses the nuances of being loathed by a significant other. In addition to announcing his forthcoming album All Dogs Go To Heaven, glaive also blessed us with a fire music video for the single.

The video was shot in Los Angeles by Ramez Silyan, and it features glaive and his friends taking a joyride and exploring the fast life in the City of Angels. I was glued to the video from the first watch due to its ability to show a montage of clips that display youth expression and the beauty of being young. Although the video isn’t full of effects, the transitions and scenic shots will have you wanting to download the song right away. With that being said, you can watch the video above.

Lyrics That Stick:

“I can’t deny you were better by my side

And you know I can’t reply”
