Axstxn - You Can’t Tell

I usually try to hide my excitement over new songs, but this new single by Axstxn deserves every bit of praise. ‘You Can’t Tell’ is like dopamine running through my brain, and it gives me this euphoric feeling of being in high school again. From the first drop, I found myself head bopping in my living room as I sang along to the highly infectious chorus.
With production by Ross Gossage, Axstxn floats over the beat with confidence I hardly see in emerging artists. Axstxn seems to know who he is, and his smooth melodies gradually put you into a hypnosis that you don’t want to snap. Although the song is upbeat in tempo, the overall topics that are covered are what make this song relatable. Axstxn uses the melodic feel of the production to show that he only acts like he’s okay because he’d rather keep his feelings inside. However, he knows that even if he did show more of his inner demons, people still wouldn’t tell. With this being his first release of 2021, we are more than excited to keep an eye on this rising artist. His future is bright.
