Vacation Manor - Can’t Run Forever

It’s always a good day when I see Vacation Manor putting out new music. This exciting duo comprised of Nathan Towles and Cole Young continues to push the barriers of dreamy rock-n-roll, soulful punk, and indie pop.
I’ve actually been hooked on this band since the release of their debut EP ‘Girl, Say’ in 2016, and it’s been four years since of straight, consistent bops coming from this band. In their latest, ‘Can’t Run Forever,’ Vacation Manor intertwines a washed 80’s vibe with their classic alternative rock sound. From the detailed songwriting and layers upon layers of gorgeous tones and harmonies, I was blown away yet again! From first listen, I felt like I was transported to a time with my friends, driving through Malibu with the windows down on a summer day. I guess that’s just the effect of good music, allowing you to be somewhere else, experiencing an entirely different reality than the one you’re in.
Lyrics That Stick:
“You say you wanna be a new face
You wanna go where no one knows your name
And everyone that you run into
It's just a new chance to state your case”
