Mostlyeverything is an artist hailing from New york and his newest single “White Lies” is something you definitely don’t wanna miss out on. Along with being an artist, Mostlyeverything is also a producer and his music is a mixture of Hip-Hop,Lo-fi and Pop creating a unique sound to bring to the table. In this song, he sings about his complicated relationship with a girl he’s involved with as he also mentions a few instances he’s observed and learned from in life . Mostlyeverything has been in the game for a while, and I can definitely see him paving his own lane as an artist with the music he’s currently making.
I think the production on this track works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood along with Mostlyeverything’s songwriting really well. The song’s production begins with a mellow but engaging acoustic guitar pattern and consists of Pop acoustic drums along with a busy bassline. I personally love it when artists get candid in their songs and write about how they are currently feeling, that paired with good songwriting and production makes the song a straight hit in my eyes. I think anyone who appreciates emo pop music would love this song.
This song is definitely going to be on repeat for awhile. Mostlyeverything’s musicianship and songwriting abilities are going to make him shoot onto the mainstream scene anytime now, so check him out before then!
