Trip Carter impresses us his new single “Bats”

Trip Carter is an artist based out of California and his newest single “Bats” is something you definitely don’t wanna miss out on. He initially came into music as a trained Jazz bassist and eventually created his own unique Hip-Hop brand with his deep knowledge of musicality and soul. In this song, he sings about his complicated relationship with a girl he’s involved with and goes on to describe her crazy behaviour towards him . Trip Carter has been in the game for a while, and I can definitely see him paving his own lane as an artist with the music he’s currently making.
I think the production on this track works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood along with Trip’s songwriting really well. The song’s production begins with a mellow but engaging electric guitar pattern and consists of Trap drums while switching between a busy bassline and some synths. I personally love it when artists get candid in their songs and write from personal experience, that paired with good songwriting and production makes the song a straight hit in my eyes. I think anyone who appreciates modern Hip-hop music would love this song.
This song is definitely going to be on repeat for awhile. Trip Carter’s musicianship and songwriting abilities are going to make him shoot onto the mainstream scene anytime now, so check him out before then!
