saturn 17 Impress With Their Electrifying New Single “tunnels”

Hailing from the Golden State, emerging indie-pop/rock duo, saturn 17, have been setting listeners hearts on fire with their captivating sound that begs to be heard. The band consists of the songwriting duo Nika Fazeli and Halsey Bousquet who are constantly inspired by their home state of California, their personal heartbreaks, triumphs, and tears. If I could describe them in one word it would be “unique”. They have a very refreshing sound that has a rawness that allows you to connect as a listener and music lover. Although I’m new to their discography, they debut on our pages with their latest single “tunnels”.
The single was written about the excitement of a new relationship that makes you hopeful for the future and helps heal any feelings of apathy towards love. “tunnels” is a very dymanic song full of captivating melodies, exceptional vocals, and the sonics are made to perfection. I loved the transitions and breakdowns throughout the song that allow the song to build up before they release it all around the (2:30) mark. If you are a fan of song structure and are in need of a pick me up song, look no further. saturn 17 have made a fan out of me, and I can’t wait to see what they have to offer in 2023!
