Have you ever wanted to drop everything and follow your dreams? Then I have a song for you. Currently based in the “Golden State” is an emerging pop icon that I believe is the industry’s best kept secret right now. Her name is G Luné. Although I’m new to her sound, she has us all captivated with her groundbreaking new single “SORRY”.

“SORRY” is an upbeat single that speaks of hope, loss, and following your dreams. The production is exceptional, and it’s laced electrifying guitars riffs, captivating drums, and a baseline on the hook that will make you want to run through a wall. Sonically, I love the transitions, and I enjoy the electronic influence she adds to her natural pop sound. Drawing vocal & production comparisons with artists such as Spill Tab & Devon Again, G Luné shines with a sound that is very genuine. On her latest record, the 23-year-old star showcases her songwriting prowess and ability to connect with her audience on a deeper level. “SORRY” is a testament to the sacrifices and risks one takes to follow their dreams.

More Info on the writing process: “SORRY” is a letter G Luné wrote to her family after a trip to LA where she was able to focus on just her music for the first time ever. Feeling the guilt and pressure of her family’s expectations to finish college and get a degree, she wrote “SORRY” as a way to break the news to her family that she was going to drop out and prove she is capable of “making it” without a degree.”

Overall, this is one of the best songs of the month so stream it below and rock out!
