Austin Awake, Lil Brows, & Clever Impress With Their Intoxicating New Single “Pick up the Pieces”

When it comes to music, I believe we all search for songs that we can connect with on an emotional or personal level. We yearn for our problems to be seen, and we gravitate to those artists crafting songs that make us feel like we aren’t alone. With that being said, I have always had a soft spot for emotional music. That’s why I was excited to come across new music from Austin Awake, Lil Brows, and Clever.
For those who live under a rock, this trio is known for their innate abilities to craft infectious singles that showcase their vulnerability. Their songs evoke raw emotions out of listeners and will surely pull at your heartstrings. Now, they all three debut on our pages with their introspective new single “Pick up the Pieces”.
“Pick Up The Pieces” is all about being with someone who is able to put up with your growing pains. Over the songs duration, we hear Lil Brows and Austin Awake take turns delivering emotional verses that ask all the right questions. Just like the title, they are begging for that one person to be there when everything hits the fan, and I believe this to be a topic relatable to many. Outside of their exceptional verses, the production was sonically pleasing, and it was laced with lush melodies, engaging guitar riffs, and a baseline that’ll allow you to truly appreciate the emotions being expressed lyrically. Clever’s vocal range and vibrato on the hook was the cherry on top. Overall, this is one of my favorite finds as of recent, so make sure to stream the song below and vibe out!
