Russ - “Take You Back” (feat. Kehlani)

Serene sounds and crooning vocals are nothing new when it comes to Atlanta artist Russ’s discography. Since 2010 the R&B darling has added hit after hit to his impressive catalogue. “Take You Back” (feat. Kehlani) is the rapper’s first release since his 2020 album SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE (DELUXE), and represents a return to what we love about Russ.
For her part Kehlani gives this track exactly what it needs. Her duet with Russ over minimalistic production is the perfect way for a song like this to end on a resounding, elegant note. Clocking in at under 3 minutes, this short single is sure to warrant at least a few plays to really let the vibe soak in.
