remy - what did you get yourself into

It’s always a good day when we see remy is dropping a new song, but this release might just top them all. ‘what did you get yourself into’ tells the story of conflicts in a relationship, as remy vents about how this certain someone fell for him before understanding what being with him implies. It’s a feeling many of us know all too well; not feeling good enough for the other person, like it’ll only end in them getting hurt.
This storytelling comes from a place of vulnerability that’s so rare to find in music nowadays. On top of that, remy lets hits talent speak for itself when it comes to the catchiness of the melodies and uniqueness of flows. That falsetto on the first verse seriously gave us life!
We’ll be bumping this one, along with the rest of his music, for awhile to come. Be one of the first ones to listen to this soon-to-be classic and let us know what you think!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Must have called me 16 times
Your sister said you fell asleep crying
And I know
Losing you lately
Now you regret ever starting to date me”
