Australian-born, indie pop singer/songwriter Noah Vernon is back with his third release of 2020, the dreamy “Rocketship.” The track takes us on a sweet, serene journey along with its catchy guitar riff and relatable lyrics. Australian artists are some of the toughest, having an extremely competitive music scene with far fewer fans to go around than there are in America. It’s great to see some of this much-needed tenacity come through in Noah Vernon’s work.

From reminiscing about the past to projecting the future, Vernon takes us on a wild ride throughout “Rocketship.” I’m already several listens deep and it’s really contributing to the Stockholm Syndrome-vibe I’ve been getting from quarantine.
