Tony Ferrari - “Where Did Our Summer Go?”

It’s been a minute since I’ve heard a fresh take on indie pop. Tony Ferrari’s flavor is a mix between Quinn XCII’s upbeat ballads and Mike Posner’s tender confessions. “Where Did Our Summer Go?” asks the same question that’s been on everyone’s minds since May. With things largely in freeze-frame since the pandemic’s struck, music has been one of the few outlets that have remained as a way to help get people through Covid. With chilled, sugary vibes abound, “Where Did Our Summer Go?” just might get you through the night.
With so much darkness and pain in 2020, it’s great to hear a track that reminds us of the silver linings. Tony Ferrari’s been an enigma for sure, with only three songs released in the past two years, two of those have been well-performing 2020 singles. With a hundred-week gap in between his last two releases, two in the same year might be enough to make fans start guessing that a debut album - or even EP - could be in the works.
Lyrics That Stick:
“And why did nobody say
These are the good old days?
I just gotta know
Where did our summer go?”
