Los Angeles based singer/producer Dae Zhen is back on our pages with his first release of 2021 titled 'Mango Sticky Rice'. This new cut from Dae Zhen is layered in deep synths and smooth delivery. It is very captivating from start to finish, and the use of distortion and beat switches was a very excellent choice in making this song what it is. From the first listen I was lost in the production, and the euphoric vocals have me feeling a high I have yet to feel from a song in a while.
'Mango Sticky Rice' is my new late-night obsession. The song is very intimate at its surface, but it also evokes feelings of nostalgia. I can't help but see the imagery he paints with his sensual lyrics. Dae Zhen is a very special artist, and we can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for him.
