Jared Anthony - “Crossfire”

Jared Anthony does a fantastic job on his latest single, “Crossfire.” The talented rapper put out his debut album in 2018 and has had an honestly ruthless stream of singles, constantly putting out hit-quality records. His latest is more of the quality we’ve come to expect. “Crossfire” takes inspiration from artists like XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD clearly, but Jared Anthony’s fingerprints are undoubtedly all over the record.
Let me put it this way, I was half asleep before I put this song on and I’m fully in the vibe listening to it now. “Crossfire” tells Jared’s simple, yet cuttingly deep story of troubled youth, one that’s frustratingly all too relatable today in 2020. For a sympathetic ear, turn to Jared Anthony.
Lyrics That Stick:
“Hidin' all these pills give me chills in the night time
repping out the ville need a mill I'm on my time
I might pop a pill crack a seal if it night time
if I'm in my right mind sleep tight night night”
