Damien - i can’t stop

Downtempo vibes and a beachy feel seem to be the winning recipe for Damien on his new single ‘i can’t stop’. The single is raw and relatable in the fact he talks about real issues. Although the acoustic guitar gives it a happier feel on the surface, the song is an introspective look at how depression can be disguised. Due to my personal experience with depression, I can’t stop playing the song.
With a Dominic Fike Esque feel on the production, Damien comes correct with his highly confessional lyrics that take a closer look at the artist’s stability. We get to see his struggle, and we ultimately see him in his most vulnerable state. The song is for anyone that has dealt with anxiety or depression, and we believe you should listen ASAP.
Lyrics That Stick:
“Don't ask me how my day went
My smile I be fakin'”
