J.I.D - Bruuuh (with Denzel Curry) [Remix]

Due to the rise of subscriptions on streaming platforms, we have seen our favorite artists add gems from their Soundclouds or old mixtapes to DSP’s so that everyone can access them. For a music fan, this is everything you want. Whether it’s the feeling of nostalgia or knowing that you can finally add your favorite song to your Spotify playlist, the rise of streaming platforms has made all fans want their favorites all in one place. For artists like J.I.D., we saw him drop a couple of singles near the end of 2020 on select platforms. This caused mass hysteria amongst his fans, so he ultimately wanted to give them a chance to listen to on all DSP’s. He gave his hungry fans “Bruuuh (remix)” with Denzel Curry, “Cludder”, and “Ballads” featuring Conway The Machine.
My favorite release out of the bunch has to be “Bruuuh (with Denzel Curry)[Remix]'“. J.I.D is smooth with his bars, and we get to see his pen game shine per usual. The one thing that impresses me is the hunger that you hear in his voice. When it comes to rappers, you sometimes hear that energy and hunger leave with success, but J.I.D still seems to have his foot on everyone’s necks. In addition, Denzel Curry gives this song every bit of life it needs. On a track where it seems J.I.D’s star is too bright to outshine, Curry makes himself noticed with his in your face delivery and clever bars. Overall, this song is intoxicating, and I can’t wait to hear more from both artists. You can listen to all three releases below!
