Kofi - Garden Girl (feat. Jayy Brown)

Angelic melodies mixed with the ability to create infectious trap anthems have been the driving force for emerging R&B artist Kofi. Although he has recently caught the eyes of many in the industry, Kofi started his career as a producer who assisted members of OVO. After years behind the scenes, the young Ontario talent decided to embark on his own journey. With his new offering titled ‘Garden Girl’, he recruits Jayy Brown to help assist in what I would say is my favorite song at the moment.
‘Garden Girl’ is an emotional track at its surface, and Kofi’s voice glides across the trap drums as he gives an introspective look into this special someone. The song is intoxicating, and the artist’s offset each other vocally in the best way. Jayy Brown gives the song a different element with his soulful vocals. He is present, and at times reminds me of Rexx Life Raj which is a compliment. Overall, the song is a knockout, and we believe that you should give it a listen.
