Honeyboys Deliver a Lovelorn Cut Titled “Green Tea”

Honeyboys’ new song “Green Tea,” tells the story of a man whose unable to stay with a girl he loves. The divide between the green tea-loving man and the girl who likes coffee is a fun metaphor for the ridge between the two love interests. Honeyboys’ lead singer Ari Eisenberg croons over lively bass and guitar lines, as well as a synth with a saccharine ‘80s feel to them.

With Covid destroying much of the live show opportunities, Honeyboys’ sound makes you feel like you’re at an outdoor show on a sunny, spring day. Their music’s dreamy optimism is much needed given the times we’re facing.
