dyl dion’s Melancholy Ballad “Pouring Outside” is Making a Splash

17-year-old dyl dion has emerged from obscurity as a rising face in the bedroom pop scene with his track “Pouring Outside”. What I love about this track is that breathes a fun almost communal feeling into the heartbreaking world that dion brings you into.

The instrumental’s whimsical keys and dreary melody give the perfect backdrop for the North Carolina native to express a difficult relationship with a lover.

“Couldn’t say that I cared because I would just lie, so sick of my phone wish that it would die, do not disturb because I know it won’t matter, you won’t hit my phone up ever after,” dion croons in the song’s opening lines.

Despite dropping just four songs, dion is already beginning to garner a die-hard fanbase. “Pouring Outside” has over 1.8 Million streams and climbing and his two new tracks “meant nothing to me” and “can’t be bothered” combine for over 500k streams.
