Hailing from my home state of North Carolina, emerging singer, Natalie Barth, has been an artist that has impressed us over the last year. At only 21-years-old, she has continued to show her immense talent, lyrical maturity, and her innate ability to craft heartfelt records that evoke raw emotions out of her listeners. She is extremely unique, and she has a sound that is very refreshing. After captivating us with records such as “The Fvck Alone” and “Rent Free”, the emerging singer debuts on our pages with her latest offering “Ghost”.
“Ghost” is a single off of her latest project “Golden Years”, and the record is one of the most relatable songs I have heard recently. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Lorde and Lennon Stella, Barth delivers an indie-pop masterpiece that is laced with lush melodies and raw lyricism. When it comes to the song’s sonics, the chord progressions and transitions are exceptional. In addition, the drop near the end of the song carries this single home. Barth is a bona fide star and I can’t wait to see her future. With that being said, stream the song below and vibe out!
