Tucked away somewhere between East and West Hollywood, emerging 26-year-old singer/songwriter, Stefan Dismond, has been captivating listeners with his eclectic style and unique sound. With a sound that feels like a mixture of Steve Lacy, Choker, ILoveMakonnen, and Jon Waltz all in one, Dismond crafts a very infectious alternative rock sound with pop undertones. Now, he debuts on our pages with his refreshing new record “DEAL or NO deal”.
The record is my first introduction into the discography of the budding LA-based singer and Stefan rises to the occasion. On his latest release, Dismond discusses a tale of uncertain love told in 3 parts. The production has a very atmospheric sound that is laced with lush melodies, smooth transitions, and a crescendoing outro that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I’m a huge fan of artists allowing their songs to progress and build over the song’s duration. It’s almost like you are going on a journey with them. Overall, this has been one of my favorite releases as of late, so make sure to stream the song below and vibe out.
