Lexi Jade is a 19 year old up and coming artist and her newest single “Drunk text me” is something you definitely don’t wanna miss out on.In this song, Lexi sings about her complicated relationship with her ex-lover and how she’s still not completely over him. Lexi is fairly new to the scene, and with her newest single I can definitely see her paving her own lane as an artist.
This track is produced by Nick Ruth and Alexander23 and I think the production works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood along with Lexi’s songwriting really well. The song’s production begins with a soothing acoustic guitar with a couple of slides and strings along with some mellow drums. I personally love it when artists get candid in their songs and write about how they are currently feeling, that paired with good songwriting and production makes the song a straight hit in my eyes. I think anyone who appreciates good pop music would love this song.
