When it comes to nostalgia, I think we all have an inner obsession with remembering the best and brightest moments that have shaped us. We yearn to stay connected to the happiest of times and moments of pure bliss. Although many speak about nostalgia, I recently found an artist who uses exceptional imagery to show the true meaning of it. Hailing from New York, rising singer-songwriter & guitarist, Jackson Lundy, debuts on our pages with his latest single “Dandelions”.

The record is my first introduction into the discography of the budding artist and it is absolutely enchanting. “Dandelions” is about being on a road trip with a friend and passing through Colorado. Lundy captures this bittersweet yet beautiful vibe into a song that feels like it is perfect for Summer’s end. In his own words, Lundy states, “We often reminisce, associating idealized images of childhood or past happy times. Dandelions are nostalgic reminders of childhood to many of us.” In addition, he also mentions, “I like writing as visually as possible and tried my best to convey what it felt like feeling heartbroken and homesick while in the midst of such natural beauty, endless fields of dandelions, and breathing in crisp mountain air.” Overall, the song is a masterpiece full of lush melodies, warm vocal tones, and smooth sonics that will keep you engaged from start to finish. With that being said, stream the song below and vibe out.
