contradash is back, everyone! And he’s not here to disappoint. The EDM-flavored pop joy “cat out the bag” takes any conception you had about the young artist and blows it out of the water. On the heels of “petal pickin’” and “white lie,” contradash is here to open your eyes to another aspect of music he has locked down. Always ready to mash genres, the young talent linked with D-Work and Russ Chell to create a delicious fusion of R&B with dashes of experimental pop and electronic influences.
“cat out the bag” might be my favorite contradash release yet, but I better not say so or I’m sure he’ll just prove me wrong again with the next record. With only five singles released in the past year, could an EP or even a full-length album be on the horizon? We can only hope. Run up the streams on “cat out the bag” and we just might find out a little sooner!
