‘Is It Just Me,’ or is this about to be the song of the fall? Maybe even the year?! Sasha Sloan is the type of artist that’s always keeping us on our toes as far as style and vibe goes. The best part, however, is that no matter the route she takes sonically, it always ends up blowing our minds.
The way her reverby, soft-as-a-pillow voice introduces the song is breathtaking. Sloan then takes the lead even further with a strong yet emotionally shaky verse that sounds like it came straight from her secret diary. Hearing all these points of view from her is super interesting, and a great way for us listeners to connect with the artist!
As if we weren’t already excited for Sasha Sloan’s debut album set to release October 16th, this definitely has us even more so! Give it a listen.
