JAHMED - GLIMPSE (feat. Freddie Gibbs)

Pomona, CA-born JAHMED has been dropping absolute heat for the past year. His latest in a string of compelling releases is the stunning, Freddie Gibbs-featuring “GLIMPSE.” Dupri and Extendo Beatz produce a dark, grungy soundscape on the tantalizingly short, two-minute-long track. An emotional introduction and verse from JAHMED pair beautifully with the instrumental atmosphere on the record, sending a beautiful lob into Freddie Gibbs’ outstretched hands for a scorching verse.
It’s a pleasure to see JAHMED reaching above his station and holding his own with a weighty feature like Gibbs sharing the spotlight. On “GLIMPSE,” the rising star does just that, closing out the track with as much resonance as Freddie’s words have on his feature. In no way outshined on his own record, JAHMED and Freddie Gibbs have truly united their potential to create an emphatic vibe on “GLIMPSE.”
