Amira Elfeky Shines On Her Empowering New Single “So Good By Myself”

The most exciting part of music discovery is finding an artist that you feel connected with. Although the job comes with listening to many different genres and artists, there isn’t a better high then listening to a song that moves you on the first listen. This week, I happened to discover a new artist that goes by the name Amira Elfeky, and she has to be my “find of the month”.
Amira is an emerging singer-songwriter who has roots that trace back to Simsbury, CT. With a musical palette that seems to draw inspiration from all genres, Amira has found a way to craft a sound that evokes raw emotions out of her listeners. After making moves that found her in San Francisco and now Los Angeles, it feels like the budding singer is finally producing a sound that is authentic to her. Through her own trials and tribulations, she has continued to fight for her art, and she now debuts on our pages with her latest release “So Good By Myself”.
“So Good By Myself” is a moody yet energetic pop-rock anthem. I was amazed by how controlled her vocals were, and Amira’s songwriting was exceptional. Her ability to display her emotions while also maintaining the song’s core was very impressive. Over the dynamic sonics, Elfeky shines vocally as she glides over lush melodies and engaging guitars. To me, the record is about empowerment, and I can’t stop listening to it. With that being said, stream the song below and vibe out!
