Drugstore Cowboy Debut On Our Pages With Their Fiery New Single “Big House”

If you are looking for an upbeat single to kick-off your Summer, then look no further. After going through our submissions, I came across a duo that I believe have the star power to really shine in a very saturated industry. That duo goes by the name Drugstore Cowboy. For those of you who are knew to them, Drugstore Cowboy is a collaboration project between singer-songwriter Carter Davis and drummer-producer Grant Thompson. With roots that trace back to Dallas, TX, the duo draw inspiration from all genres, so if you spend enough time with their discography, you will understand what I mean.
Although I’m fairly new to Drugstore Cowboy, they debut on our pages with their latest single “Big House”. The record is an energetic pop-song that is carried by exceptional vocals and dynamic sonics. Lyrically, the record discusses the pursuit of material wealth and a magnificent life juxtaposed with the thoughts of chasing “real” human connection & simpler times. The single is very relatable, and it has an uplifting touch that will make you feel like your dreams are attainable. Overall, this is one of my favorite submissions in the last month so stream the record below!
