Internet Money’s lilspirit is back on our pages with his intoxicating new single ‘4ever’. With its catchy chorus and guitar-driven production, ‘4ever’ is my new guilty pleasure, and this single only proves lilspirit is not slowing down.
Although he is gifted at many things within his artistry, he has hit his sweet spot with this genre-bending masterclass that fuses pop-punk with hyper-pop. The track incorporates indie-rock guitars, but it also packs a punch with its booming bass and futuristic pop production. His vocals float between aggressive and ethereal, as he sings about the sudden end of a toxic relationship. Although you would think he would be hurt from its end, his often carefree vocals make it seem as if he’s glad it’s over. lilispirit’s ability to push the boundaries of pop makes him irreplaceable and a trailblazer for young artists trying to breakthrough. This single is a must-listen, and it has us excited for more.
