Trent Thomas - The Bigger Picture (EP Review)

By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @musicbytrev

We could focus on Trent Thomas’ fire delivery, catchy melodies, or clever wordplay on each song, but ‘The Bigger Picture’ is that this project is just straight up iconic. In just 6 tracks, Thomas gave us all something to ride out the rest of summer to, and in legendary fashion we might add.

With an energetic opening song, leading into more moody vibes and ultimately ending with a cinematic RnB record, this project truly takes the listener on a journey of emotions. The best part? Each song carries a theme of such high quality and intriguing perspective that it still feels concise.

Trent Thomas definitely has molded into his own unique sound that we really believe is going to pave the way for other artists after him. Hats off on the EP! Go check it out if you haven’t yet.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Now I don’t go out

That life ain’t fun

I just stay home

Watching hella re-runs”
