Duncan Davis - Out of This World (EP Review)

Question for the people out there; what do the universe and Duncan Davis’ new EP have in common? They’re both ‘Out of This World!’ Okay… we’re sorry for that. But regardless of our bad jokes, this project is one of the cleanest, most well-composed, nicely-written bodies of work we’ve heard in awhile.

We’re still trying to figure out how Davis was able to fit so many catchy melodies into just 5 songs. It’s like every single track is just a continuous, angelic symphony building on itself! Also impressive is Davis’ songwriting ability, whereas each song is filled with vulnerability and specific storytelling that feels all too relatable.

This EP truly is something special. We know we’ll be bumping it for awhile to come, and once you hear it, you will too.

Lyrics That Stick:

“You should know I’m never

Gonna lie to you babe

Treat you like the only one

Alive to me babe”
