SYNNX Release Their Captivating EP, “Atlas of Heart”

When it comes to music discovery, I always find myself searching for artists that are willing to bring listeners into their world. I yearn for artists that are looking to push the boundaries lyrically & sonically. Because of that, I find myself searching for disruptors that refuse to align with the genre norms. Although it’s often hard finding these artists, it feels like I hit the lottery when I do. This week, I came across emerging duo SYNNX.
SYNNX is a captivating duo made up of vocalist Lynx & pianist Nova. They are known for their theatrical & symphonic rock sound that evokes raw emotions out of their listeners. Exploring different cultures and sounds, their music takes listeners on a sonic journey that they won’t want to end. Now, they debut on our pages with their latest EP, “Atlas of Heart”.
“Atlas of Heart” is a 6-track EP that I believe to be one of the most integral projects of the year. It’s daring, mesmerizing, and the sonics are exceptional. The chemistry between the duo can be heard from the first listen. Their ability to mesh their talents into one unique sound is why they are needed in the music industry. The duo is special. Lyn has some of the must elegant vocals, and it feels as if she floats on each record. I loved the progressive rock feel, and I found each song to be rich with instrumentation and melodies that will have you hooked on the first listen.
My favorite songs were “Hypnagogia” & Atlas of Heart”. “Hypnagogia” is laced with silky vocals, enchanting melodies, and melodic production. This record was hypnotizing, and it shows Lynx’s vocal talent. “Atlas of Heart” has a cinematic feel carried with warm production and a captivating build up. I loved the production on this record. From the pianos to the violins, this record is exceptional. The vocals were a chef’s kiss. Overall, this is one of the best projects this year so stream it below!
