Polo G - THE GOAT (Album Review)

Young Legend Polo G has given us his sophomore album, and it was worth the year wait. It was preceded by 3 singles, the biggest of which is the Tik Tok classic ‘Go Crazy’, which has now amassed almost 70 million Spotify listens since its release.
At 16 tracks, it’s longer than most albums that we see nowadays, but with the versatility of Polo it keeps you entertained all the way throughout. His ability to make club bangers and heartfelt, vulnerable music reminds me of a Good Kid, Maad City approach. My personal favorite track is ‘I Know’, a song written for one of Polo G’s friends who passed away. Honestly I didn’t have the highest of expectations for the album, but I was very pleasantly surprised, and if you check it out I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too.
