Unless you live under a rock, you probably have heard of rising hitmaker LOVETEDDY.. He is raw, captivating, and he has this innate ability to craft polarizing records that listeners gravitate to. Starting his musical journey in 2012, LOVETEDDY. has continued to grow as a songwriter and performer. From “Playboi” to “KoVu” to his new alias, the burgeoning star’s attention to detail has made him a pioneer of this next generation of music artists. Now, he returns to our pages with his latest album “DON’T POKE THE BEAR’.
“DON’T POKE THE BEAR” is an exceptional 9-track album that proves his star power. Over the album’s duration, LOVETEDDY. discusses relationships, dreams, loss, and triumph. This album is his magnum opus. Although the music industry has become saturated with artists chasing virality, LOVETEDDY. is one of the few rappers doing it for the love of his craft. For me, this album is the soundtrack of my life due to how relatable it is. We as people all go through trials and tribulation, and “DON’T POKE THE BEAR” is the scripture for those willing to fight through adversity to become more. My favorite songs from the album were “HOLLLYWOOD BLVD (w/ Moosh)”, “BAD GUY”, & “LIL MAMA. Overall, this is one of the best albums of the year so make sure to stream it below!
