Daring, innovative, and captivating are all words that describe rising singer-songwriter Limandi. The self-made Swedish artist is unlike anything I have heard recently, and she is pioneering this next generation of artists. I think it’s safe to say that she’s one of the breakout stars of 2024. From her exceptional vocal performances to her ability to weave in and out off genre-bending production, she has proven that she has that “IT” factor. For me, she is my favorite discovery of the year. She transcends genre norms, and her music pushes the industry forward. Now, she solidifies her talent with her latest project “FUCK. IT.”.

“FUCK. IT.” is a culmination of growth, passion, and talent combined into one blissful opus. Although the project is her debut, Limandi has shown that she has talent that will transcend for generations to come. Drawing inspiration from life experiences, she crafts an album that dives into the revelation of accepting oneself as you are and being brave enough to show yourself to the world. For anyone that has been an artist, it’s easy to feel scared or vulnerable when releasing your art to the world. This album is about saying screw it and believing in yourself!

The project is a genre-bending masterpiece that has influences of pop, indie, folk, electronic pop, r&b and soul. It’s a melting pot of textures and sounds, and it has been one of my favorite finds of the year. Although most of the records were made 4 years ago, the themes and narratives still apply to now. Over the 7 tracks, she takes us on a sonic journey that you won’t want to end. My favorite songs were “Family”, “One Day I’ll Be Proud”, & “Put The Blame On Me”.

Overall, this was one of my favorite projects of the year, and I can’t wait to hear more from the rising star. Limandi is here to stay, and she is the breath of fresh air the industry needs.
