Anything and everything is not only a popular saying, but now the name of 2 of Kota the Friend’s albums after his release of ‘Everything’ a couple days ago. ‘Everything’ is a follow up to his 2019 album, ‘FOTO’, and while it features the same happy, talented artist, the music is on another level.

On ‘EVERYTHING’, I feel like Kota the Friend has become really comfortable with who he is. The past year showed immense growth for the artist, not only in musical ability but in fan support, and I think that gives him more room to do exactly what he wants with his music. My personal favorite is ‘Always’, an upbeat song featuring KYLE & Braxton Cook. Go and check it out, and while you’re there listen to the rest of the album.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Woke up in my bag, only focused on my path

They have kicked me at my lowest”
