Kid Travis - Strawberry Skies EP (Album Review)

Kid Travis just gave us 8 tracks in the form of an EP, this one titled ‘Strawberry Skies.’ When I hear that, I think of the beautiful moment where the sky lights up right before the sun sets. A fitting name for a beautiful, calm project.
On ‘Strawberry Skies,’ Kid Travis sticks to what he does best. Each instrument is beautifully crafted with his calm, soothing voice mixed perfectly over it. My personal favorite is, “Jealousy and Hennessy”, a tear-jerker about heartbreak and finding your way after it. I love this one for the emotion that shows in his voice, telling me that this song was written from personal experience. Go grab your significant other, drive to your town’s local make out spot, and enjoy ‘Strawberry Skies’ together.
