jade tree Shares Her Mesmerizing Album, “growing roots”

When it comes to music discovery, I am always search for artists that push the boundaries and bring you into their world. In a time where most modern music feels formulaic, I yearn for the artists that are making music that I consider healing. There is nothing like listening to a song or album that you connect with. For me, listening to music that gives me goosebumps is a high that I chase every time I play a new artist. Although the industry is saturated with artists and music emerging daily, I still find a way to come across hidden gems that are moving music forward. This week, I came across the musical project from Cara Best called jade tree.
As a mother and musical artist, Cara Best has found away to explore her creative side under the “jade tree” musical project. Her music is raw, daring, and she has this innate ability to craft songs that pull at your heartstrings. I have yet to find an artist like her, and I think that is so special. Before finding her, I don’t remember the last time I listened to a new artist making timeless music. Now, she enters our pages with her latest album “growing roots”.
“growing roots” is a 16-track masterpiece full of lush melodies, exceptional songwriting, and sonics are otherworldly. Personally, I love the fact that she produced and mixed everything on this album, because it shows in the final work. Everything on this EP feels right. With mastering coming from Hugo Allen, he added the cherry on top to an already masterpiece of an album.
When it comes to my favorite songs, I would say “good day” & “all the vibes” are my favorites. Overall, the vibes on this album can’t even be put into words. jade tree is a natural born star, and I love everything I heard on this album. With that being said, stream this album below and vibe out!
