Hailing from Arizona, Indian rapper & producer has taken the music industry by storm. He is raw, daring, and his flows are captivating. His ability to tackle modern trial and tribulation within his songs makes him relatable. When it comes to the modern state of the music industry, there are very few artists that make me feel anything. Everything seems formulaic and dry. However, Kayze provides a refreshing facelift to music. His music comes from the heart, and he has this innate ability to evoke raw emotions out of his listeners. After impressing me with his previous albums “Issa Vibe” & “Katharsis”, he debuts on our pages with his latest album “Decadence”.

“Decadence” is a transformative 7-track that dives into themes of technological dependency and social decline. We are currently in a time where most of us are dependent on technology, and Kayze takes aim at the mental decline that comes from this tumultuous relationship. Clouded by our overindulgence and need for secular living, Kayze doesn’t hold back. His ability to bear his soul and emotions into each track makes this album so special. This isn’t an album about personal growth. “Decadence” is an album that critiques modern society, and it addresses themes of materialism, loss of authenticity, and the struggle for meaningful connections in an increasingly digital world. Sonically, I loved the rich production, engaging vocal delivery, and Kayze’s lyrics were otherworldly. This album was a complete chef’s kiss.

My favorite tracks from the album were “Never Enough” & “Dangerous”. Overall, this album deserves all the attention. It has been a while since I have heard an artist challenge the social norms. There is an angsty and rebellious feel to this album that I truly appreciate. For me, I’m a fan of authentic artists and Kayze is nothing short of that. He has what we all need in modern artists. He loves his craft, and his album deserves a listen. Stream it below and vibe out!
