When it comes to music discovery, I always find myself searching for artists that are willing to bring listeners into their world. I yearn for artists that are looking to push the boundaries lyrically & sonically. Because of that, I find myself searching for disruptors that refuse to align with the genre norms. Although it’s often hard finding these artists, it feels like I hit the lottery when I do. This week, I came across a diamond in the rough named Daniel Saad.

Daniel Saad is a singer-songwriter from Montreal, and he is known for crafting daring records that evoke raw emotions out of his listeners. His music is faith based, and his sound pushes all listeners t want to be better versions of themselves. When it comes to the music industry, there is a vast amount of negativity and secular ideas in what we consume daily. Daniel Saad provides something different. He is raw, captivating, and memorable. You can feel his heart & soul in every record, and his star power has only continued to grow. Now, he enters our pages with his latest album, “It All Matters”.

“It All Matters” is a transformative project that details the authentic life of the Godly man in today's society. Saad is uncut in his delivery, and his emotions only help to drive his themes. For me, I loved the album sonically & lyrically. This album is his magnum opus. Over the 15 well-crafted songs, he doesn’t hold back. Saad allows his faith to drive his talent into a place where many will applaud him. However, if you know Daniel, he isn’t doing this for admiration. He makes music because he loves it. This is his calling, and I am in awe with how great this album was.

My favorite songs were “The Greatest”, “The One Who Knows”, & “Following God”. For me, those 3 records show the range and immense talent he has. To add to the July 5th release of the album, he had a launch event that gathered almost 150 people on Thursday July 4th before the release at midnight. The album charted at no1 in Canada on iTunes for the Hip-hop/Rap genre, and it is a certified classic. Overall, this a must hear album so stream it below!
