When it comes to music discovery, there is a high that I get from finding artists that are really pushing the boundaries with their art. I yearn to find the next big thing, and there’s a beauty in finding artists that make me fall in love with music again. This week, I was impressed to come across emerging Italo German composer, producer, and audio engineer Charas Lounge.
Born in 1982, Ramon Giannini a.k.a Charas Lounge, has been refining his craft for decades. He started producing in 1997, and he has continued to craft infectious music that has grown his audience over the years. Drawing influence from the likes of Massive Attack, DJ Krush, & RZA, his music blends the lines of Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, and other various genres. Now, he debuts on our pages with his latest album “Round Robin”.
The album is a musical experience that blends various genres and vibes into one exceptional sound. In addition, the album was entirely composed and recorded by Charas with virtual Instruments. That’s what makes him so special. He is one of a kind. From the song’s melodies to its arrangement, Charas Lounge is crafting it all. Another key highlight is the fact that he doesn’t use samples and he still captured the aesthetic and vibe of 90s boombap and triphop. Overall, Charas Lounge proves that he deserves to be a household name. His keen ear matched with his attention to detail makes him a true talent. So, stream the album below and vibe out!
