In an industry that seems to value virality over talent, emerging rockstar, Zoe Ko, continues to build a cult like fanbase with her ability to craft electric hits. She is raw, genuine, and she is known for her fierce energy & charm. After impressing me with her single “Rib Cage” earlier this year, Ko has been an artist that I have kept a close eye on. Now, she returns to our pages with her latest single “Baby Teeth”. “Baby Teeth” is an exceptional record sonically, vocally, and lyrically. Ko brings the energy and supplies fans with an upbeat single that explores themes of past trauma, bad habits, and insecurities. The record is about growing and letting go of the person you once were. Overall, this is one of my favorite songs of the year, and I can’t wait to dive into the rest of her latest EP.
