Stop what you are doing & tune in. Rising singer-songwriter, Jackson August, is the best thing I have heard all month. Known for blending elements of alt-rock, pop, & hip-hop, he has established himself as a musical chameleon. His sound is a beautiful disaster. It’s chaotic yet perfect. Now, he enters our pages with his latest single “ITS OVER” featuring his childhood best friend Yoshi T. “ITS OVER” is an electric track that brings back the angst and emotions of the punk-fueled 90s. The record is a middle finger to the establishment, and it’s an ode to being young and dumb. Both artists shine vocally and emerge as artists to watch. I haven’t gotten goosebumps from a record in a while, but that changed today. This song is the head banging record I needed to get through the week.
