Payday Impresses With Her New Single “White Mercedes”

18-year-old artist, lyricist, and songwriter Payday releases her highly anticipated new single, “White Mercedes” along with an equally powerful music video. The new track is a left-of-center pop anthem that builds upon her free-thinking sound and showcases her vocal range and credibility as a singer. The music video is an homage to her early teenage years when driving around town and causing trouble with friends were the only things on her to-do list. “White Mercedes” is the first single off her upcoming EP, Trips to Venus due this October via COR/TAN Records.
Payday states, “In high school my friend was the first to get her license and she drove an old, white Mercedes - we had the time of our lives riding around in that car every day, just being teenagers and causing trouble. White Mercedes is all about nostalgia, both the good and the bad. Growing up is so painful and beautiful at the same time, and White Mercedes really touches on that duality. Trips to Venus is definitely the most mature and elevated music that I’ve made so far, I’m singing on pretty much every song and touching on more vulnerable topics. White Mercedes is the perfect introduction to this new world and I’m so happy to be able to share it with everyone”
