Arizona musician, danny orange, is someone we have constantly kept an eye on. The emerging talent, who is both a singer and director for the fast rising digital media company Overcast, has continued to captivate listeners with his genre-bending sound that meshes indie-rock, pop, and alternative with hip-hop undertones. Now, he is back with his latest hit “way back 2 u” that follows his first two singles “Expensive” & “Juice”.
Although we have been stuck on his sound for awhile, “way back 2 u” is a vivid and vibrant masterpiece that shows danny’s ability to push himself vocally and sonically. The instrumentation on "way back 2 you" is bright and vibrant, conveying a sunny mood through warm, dream-like guitars that drift atop bouncy percussion.
