Rightfield is shaking up the indie rock scene right now, with their unique blend of Southern soul and 2000’s rock. After meeting in their youth in Texas, Reed and Jack reunited at school in Arkansas, rekindling their friendship alongside their musical aspirations as they began to release music in 2018. Their first few tracks unleashed both a potential and a hunger, cementing these two on their path of championing an alt rock revival.
Their latest entry into the fold, “Gone!” pairs an elegantly simple premise with a beautifully shot music video - filmed and produced by Jacob Ruth - placing equal emphasis on the calm and excitement that are interwoven in all of Rightfield’s music. With washed out, dreamy vocals ringing through your ears over the serene descending melody of the track’s main riff, you’re sure to lose yourself in “Gone!'“
